• Knowledge Requirement: For many candidates, the certification exam is the most challenging part of the process. The exam is a 3.5-hour, computer-based assessment administered worldwide at testing centers. Immediate feedback is provided after completing the exam. A passing score requires correct answers to 150 out of 200 questions, divided among the following topics:

  • Strategy (15%)
  • Portfolio Management (10%)
  • New Products Process (20%)
  • Teams, People, and Organizational Issues (20%)
  • Market Research (15%)
  • Tools and Metrics (20%)
