What subjects are included in the AWS certification exam?

Up to now, the AWS Certification certification system includes four significant modules (Professional, Association, Foundation, Specialty) and 11 certifications, which apply to multiple identities of architects, operation and maintenance personnel, developers, and cloud practitioners. You can choose the appropriate certification exam according to your career direction and knowledge level.

The examinations divided by occupation are introduced as follows:

Cloud Practitioner:

AWS Cloud Practitioner: It is launched at the end of 2017. This exam is the easiest of all exams. It is mainly aimed at those who want to have a preliminary understanding of cloud computing and Amazon Web Services. It is especially suitable for those who don't know anything about AWS and non-IT industry practitioners. Its exam content includes cloud computing concepts, security, technology, and billing and pricing. After understanding this content, you will have a preliminary introduction to AWS and understand most of the cloud computing frameworks in the industry. It should be noted that only those who have not taken any other AWS-level exams can take this exam.

Architect:

AWS Solutions Architect Associate(SAA):This is the AWS Certified Associate-level Solution Architect exam. This exam pays more attention to the architecture design of AWS, such as how to design scalable and highly available system architecture, how to perform system and data migration, and plan your architecture design according to AWS architecture best practices, as well as how to control costs. Assistant-level solution architects need to have a basic understanding of several essential components of AWS, such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Route53, etc., and master what they are, what are the usage scenarios, and the differences and advantages from traditional data centers, etc. . Will comprehensively examine the essential services of AWS, how to use them, how to create them and manage them. Therefore, it is also recommended that all friends prepare to take the exam first register for the AWS one-year free package. The free tier includes most of the AWS services you need to be familiar with to pass the exam. Only by doing it yourself can you better master the content.

AWS Solutions Architect Professional (SAP):This is an expert-level solution architect certification exam. You need to have a deep understanding of many fundamental components of AWS (EC2, SQS, SNS, Route 53, IAM) and an essential experience of some of the less-used components (such as WAF, Redshift, CloudSearch, Transcoder, etc.). Simply put, it is a clutter that includes most of the existing services of AWS. The exam examines the examinee's familiarity with AWS-related cloud services and mostly comes from the problems to be solved in practice. The examinee is required to have comprehensive architecture design experience and accumulation. This expert-level examination is considered by many to be eight exams. The exam is the hardest, so it should also be the one with the highest gold content.

AWS DevOps Engineer Professional: This is an expert-level DevOps engineer exam, which combines the contents of the assistant-level developer exam and the system administrator exam. It also examines some of the ability to implement and manage continuous delivery methods. This door focuses on components such as CloudFormation, AutoScaling, Security, Elastic Beanstalk, OpsWork, etc.

AWS SysOps Administrator Associate: This exam is mainly aimed at system administrators/operations and maintenance personnel of those AWS platforms. It primarily examines how to deploy, manage and operate highly available systems on AWS. This exam covers the content of the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate exam, plus some questions in the actual scenario, and I feel that the depth of the content is more than the former. Exam questions are relatively long, and many of them are multiple-choice questions. The answer options are somewhat similar, and it is often necessary to use the elimination method to select the correct answer.

Developer:

AWS Developer Associate: This exam focuses on AWS developers and will examine the candidate's basic understanding of AWS services, the corresponding SDK, and AWS services from the programmers' perspective (code deployment). You do not need to be very proficient in programming languages to take this exam. Still, at least you need to have a precise understanding and experience in a high-level programming language. In addition to understanding the essential components of AWS, you also need to learn about the non-critical database DynamoDB and API in this exam. This exam will focus on Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), and other knowledge.

Specialty:

AWS Certified Advanced Networking: It's suitable for individuals performing complex network tasks. Mainly from the perspective of network design/planning, examine candidates use AWS to design, develop and deploy a highly available network architecture and execute tools to perform AWS networking tasks automatically. A large part is investigating AWS Direct Connect, VPN, Elastic Load Balancer, VPC, BGP routing protocol, and other network aspects. The difficulty of this exam is second only to AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional, and a particular network background is required to pass it quickly.

AWS Certified Big Data: This certification is suitable for individuals who perform complex, extensive data analysis and have at least two years of experience using AWS technology. This exam aims to examine the candidate's ability to implement AWS's comprehensive data services following architecture best practices, design and maintain big data, and execute tools to perform data analysis automatically. This door focuses on S3, Kinesis, Redshift, Machine Learning, DynamoDB, Presto, D3.js, Amazon Elasticache, Amazon Elastisearch, etc.

AWS Certified Security: It's suitable for individuals with at least two years of practical experience protecting AWS workloads.
